Pool Committee

We need Volunteers for the Pool Committee! If you are interested in being on the committee, please send an email to hoasoutherntrace@gmail.com

Our Pool Committee Chairperson for the 2017 Season is TBD.

Responsibilities of the Chairperson are as follows:

  • Attends Board meetings
  • Works closely with the Board on all issues concerning the pool
  • Creates from volunteers a list of who will open/close the pool during operating season
  • Follows up by text or email daily to ensure pool is open/closed with no issue

Committee volunteers will:

  • Work with the chairperson to determine a schedule for working
  • Test the water at the pool during your designated days (you will be instructed on how to do this)
  • Immediately notify the Pool Committee Chairperson if there is an issue with the water
  • Close the pool early in the event of an emergency
  • Open and close the pool at regularly scheduled times during your designated days (you will be instructed on how to do this)
  • Watch, report, and handle any issues that you are made aware of during your designated days
  • Work together to brainstorm ideas for the improvement of our pool and pool season
